Brian Manley, 44, of Erie,Co, PA,
died unexpectedly Saturday April 24, 2010 while visiting Columbus, Ohio with his family. A resident of Erie all of his life he was born on May 25, 1965 a son of Lance and Patricia Sulz Manley. Brian was a 1983 graduate of Tech Memorial and went on to serve in the United States Air Force and later the Air Force Reserves. He had worked for MGM construction before becoming disabled in 2000. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church where he had previously been a Catechism teacher and loved spending time with his wife and children. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, and his truck. In addition to his parents survivors include his wife of 15 years, Michelle Siciliano Manley; three sons, Thomas Manley and his wife April of King, N.C., and Christopher and Christian Manley, both at home; three brothers, Scott Manley and his wife Jennie of Erie, Chris Manley of Erie, and Greg Manley and his wife Heather of Edinboro; his mother and father-in-law, Ed and Sharon Siciliano of Erie; a sister-in-law, Annmarie McLellan and her husband James of Erie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters in infancy. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road (corner of East Gore Rd. and Pine Ave.) on Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to prayer services there on Wednesday morning at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
