Happy Thanksgiving to our friends in Canada! The second Monday in
October (that’s today) is the holiday when Canadians celebrate the
harvest.

The holiday hopped around from Nov. 6 in 1879, to the third Monday in October for
many years, until Parliament set the date on the second Monday of October in 1957. You
