Notes for John Leo MANLEY

John worked with his father as vice president of the W Wheeling Ferry Co. He was a founder of the Interstate Bridge Company, which owned and operated the span between Bellaire, OH and Benwood, WV, at its charter in 1923. He was a superintendent at the time of his death in 1947. He lived at 215 31st Street in Bellaire.
The informant for his death was Joe Manley.
His godparents were Pat Curran and Sarah Cain.
He was a toll collector for the bridge.
He was the vice president of West Wheeling Ferry Company and boarded at his parent's home.
